ELK Products and Phantom Fog Partner on Active Deterrence

A new integration combines an intelligent alarm engine with rapid fog deployment to physically disrupt intruders before law enforcement arrives.

A new manufacturing partnership aims to shift commercial and residential security from passive reporting to immediate physical intervention.

ELK Products Inc. and Phantom Fog have integrated their technologies to pair the ELK E27 Alarm Engine with automated security fog deployment. The combined system allows security installers to program multi-stage defensive responses to active break-ins.

The E27 Alarm Engine operates on a hybrid platform that supports up to 16 onboard wired zones, with scalability up to 128 zones alongside wireless expansion. It utilizes a logic-based rules engine, allowing installers to create customized, situational responses based on real-time threat progression.

Under the new technical framework, a triggered alarm can initiate a coordinated sequence. The system can verify sensor data, execute timed delays, broadcast custom audio warnings, activate visual alerts and deploy high-density security fog. This rapid fog deployment obscures visibility within the protected space to stop unauthorized individuals from navigating the property.

Engineering teams have validated the hardware integration to ensure compatibility and system reliability. Technical support for the combined platform will be managed through ELK Products.
