Resorts World Las Vegas Integrates Milestone Video Software

The 88-acre resort connects thousands of security cameras to specialized analytics tools to streamline investigations and gaming compliance.

Resorts World Las Vegas has deployed an open-platform video management system to centralize security operations, fraud investigations and gaming compliance across its 88-acre property.

The $4.3 billion resort, which opened in 2021 on the Las Vegas Strip, relies on Milestone Systems' XProtect platform as the central infrastructure connecting approximately 5,800 cameras.

Managing safety and operations across large casino floors, retail venues and entertainment spaces requires unifying data from multiple specialized technologies. The open-architecture system allows operators to run surveillance, fraud detection and operational analytics through a single interface.

In addition to standard surveillance, the network integrates camera hardware from Axis Communications, Bosch and Hanwha Vision. Specialized software tools connected to the network include BriefCam for forensic video review and heat mapping, Oosto for facial recognition and Aeyesky for detecting card counting and cheating on the casino floor.

The integrated setup allows surveillance and security teams to respond to incidents faster, gather evidence for law enforcement and analyze guest foot-traffic patterns.

Looking ahead, the property plans to expand its use of artificial intelligence capabilities, focusing on behavioral analytics, guest movement tracking and proactive investigative tools.
