BlackCloak Adds Physical Risk Monitoring

The new Perimeter add-on monitors public information, travel conditions and location-based incidents affecting executives

BlackCloak has launched a physical security component that combines cybersecurity and location-based risk information for executive protection teams.

BlackCloak Perimeter adds physical risk monitoring to the company’s Digital Executive Protection platform. It provides alerts involving locations where executives live, work or travel.

The platform’s initial risk report uses open-source intelligence to identify publicly available information about designated executives and board members. Travel advisories assess cybersecurity, physical, geopolitical and social conditions by destination.

An executive threat intelligence dashboard combines digital and physical security information for security officers and protection teams. A separate visualization tool places reported incidents on a map alongside locations selected by the organization.

The system gathers incident information from news reports and social media. An artificial intelligence process evaluates relevance, assigns categories and associates incidents with locations.

Perimeter integrates with BlackCloak’s impersonation protection feature, which checks calls, video meetings and messages from designated contacts. Access is available to current members and the security teams administering their accounts.
