Inter Con Recognizes Security Officers for Frontline Roles

National Security Officer Appreciation Week highlights personnel who protect workplaces, infrastructure and public spaces.

Security officers who help prevent threats, deter crime and respond to emergencies are being recognized by Inter-Con Security Systems during National Security Officer Appreciation Week.

The observance focuses on the role security personnel play in protecting employees, customers, students, patients and visitors. Their responsibilities span corporate campuses, health care facilities, critical infrastructure, transportation hubs and public venues.

Inter-Con said officers often serve on the front lines, identifying potential threats before they escalate and responding when security incidents occur.

The Pasadena, California-based physical security and risk management company employs more than 40,000 people worldwide. The observance highlights the responsibilities security officers carry across private workplaces, public facilities and critical infrastructure.
