ZBeta Launches Drone and Robotics Security Consulting Program

The service addresses unauthorized drones and ways unmanned systems could support security operations.

Security teams assessing drones and robotics can now use a new ZBeta consulting program focused on risks, technology evaluation and operational planning.

Services include examining airspace activity and risks associated with autonomous systems. ZBeta said the practice can also guide drone-detection and counter-unmanned aircraft system planning, test available technologies and help clients develop policies and response procedures.

Consultants will also examine possible roles for drones and robotic systems within existing security programs. Potential applications include remote inspections, patrols, surveillance, incident assessment and response.

ZBeta said its first step is to consider an organization’s risks, environment and objectives instead of a specific product or solution.
