Businesses can assess how artificial intelligence is being used across their operations and identify weaknesses in oversight through two new advisory services from VikingCloud.
The cybersecurity and compliance solution provider said its AI Governance Services examine 10 categories of risk, including organizational accountability, information protection and exposure involving regulations and outside vendors. Assessments include identifying tools adopted without organizational approval, often called shadow AI.
The company offers two assessments: the AI Health Check, which takes approximately three weeks, and the AI Readiness Assessment, which takes four to six weeks and evaluates evidence against 101 criteria. Those criteria correspond to standards and frameworks including ISO/IEC 42001, the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s AI Risk Management Framework and the European Union’s AI Act.
