PureTech Adds Target Overlays to Genetec Integration

Security teams can view highlighted targets, handle detection alerts and monitor system problems within Genetec Security Center.

An update to the PureActiv integration with Genetec Security Center gives security operators live video overlays that identify objects behind detection alerts, according to PureTech Systems.

The integration supports Genetec Security Center version 5.13.2.0 and brings PureActiv alerts into the platform’s existing monitoring and response tools.

On live video, rectangular outlines mark objects that PureActiv detects and classifies. These visual cues help operators locate the target that prompted an alert and assess surrounding activity.

PureActiv also sends alarm descriptions, camera details and information for the visual overlays to Security Center. Operators can use the platform’s alarm management tools to distribute alerts and coordinate their response.

The integration also reports technical problems that could affect monitoring. These notifications flag interruptions to video feeds, communication failures involving computers and conditions that interfere with video analysis.

By bringing detection alerts and equipment status notifications into Security Center, the integration lets teams review both security events and monitoring problems through their existing operating environment.
