Florida Teen Charged with Attempted Murder after Shooting at Officers

A 14-year-old boy in Florida has been charged with three counts of attempted murder after opening fire on deputies in Hardee County. The incident took place Nov. 26, in Wauchula, where the three deputies were sent to respond to a potential burglary.

The open-source AV1 codec developed by the Alliance for Open Media—a consortium including Google, Netflix, Microsoft, Amazon and others — is already the preferred decoder for cloud-based applications, and is quickly becoming the standard for video compression of all types.
