I’m pleased to report that the Dark Restaurant Society met for its annual ISC West feast with host Frank DeFina. I’m sure I’ve reported on this before, but this is the annual meeting of security industry press editors. It’s a good time for us to compare notes on the show and exchange ideas on products and technology.

Zebra Technologies introduce the ZXP Series 3 card printer and ZMotif CardStudio design software to the North American market at ISC West.
JVC Professional Products Company, a division of JVC Americas Corp., recently introduced its Super LoLux HD line of 11 new V.Networks cameras at ISC West. The new models are equipped with CMOS imagers that output full HD resolution, and offer multi-codec support, including M-JPEG, MPEG-4, and H.264.
Avigilon recently announced the introduction of Avigilon Control Center Mobile (ACC Mobile,) a new application that enables security professionals to connect to the Avigilon Control Center Network Video Management Software (NVMS) platform over any IP wireless network with Apple devices including the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch.

The traffic around 3VR’s booth (23026) has not let up for the past two day. Attendees have surrounded the demo stations and seating area, which helped generate further buzz on the show floor. “What’s going on here?” ask attendees who pass by and ultimately stop to find out what the commotion is all about.
