Kentec’s wide range of illuminated warning signs now includes an IP66 rated weatherproof version, consisting of a polycarbonate enclosure with metal chassis. As with the other signs in the range, it is available with standard or customized text and language versions. Systems can be configured remotely, onsite or a combination of both―helping to reduce unplanned truck rolls. The AlarmNet 360 Interactive Dashboard provides customer information like custom reports on the communication technology, products and service subscriptions for their customers.
ComNet
ComNet announced the RLGE2FE16R. It is the company’s first Ethernet switch/router that is designed specifically for use in electrical utility substations and switchyards, heavy manufacturing facilities, and as railway track-side electronic equipment. Fully compliant with IEC6185-3 and IEEE1613 class 2, it is for use where high levels of electromagnetic interference are routinely encountered. The switch/router is designed to prevent unauthorized access to a network and offers an enhanced security version that easily allows for secure firewalls to be setup where multiple levels of authentication must be followed before access is granted.

Actelis has introduced the ML684 model. This breakthrough for the security industry will allow you to run a Cat 5, 4-pair cable up to 5000’ and connect two (2) 30 Watt PoE devices at the end without the need for additional power. The expected symmetrical bandwidth is 13Mb/s. Greater bandwidth and longer distances can also be reached with thicker gauge wire and bonding additional twisted pairs.

It offers analog video output and installation controls for simple camera positioning during installation, and multiple power options including 24 V AC, 12 V DC, PoE and PoE+ provide further installation flexibility.
