Online Training Program For PSNA Certification Launches

The first in a series of five new courses for security and IT professionals engaged in IP networking and security integration that leads to certification as a Physical Security Network Associate (PSNA) are now available online. The launch of the PSNA Certification Online Training program was announced by Connie Moorhead, president of The CMOOR Group, a developer of security industry online training and educational programs.

“These are the only online courses that offer dedicated training to support IP networking and convergence models,” Moorhead said. “There is an incredible need for this information now and especially as the industry integrates this technology over the next ten years.” The certification is beneficial for engineering, sales and technical personnel as well as end-users that are involved with the design, implementation, support or procurement of IP or integrated physical security systems.

The PSNA Certification Online Training program provides twelve modules in five targeted courses developed in cooperation with Jim Gompers of GOMPERS Inc. Gompers is a leading expert in the field and was responsible for establishing the IP Institute offered through ISC Education. The fully interactive courses include Basic Networking, Video on IP, Operating Systems, Integration and Roles in the Convergence Market. The fee for a single course is $125.00, or $495.00 for the complete series.
