NAPCO Creates Video Technologies And Services Division

NAPCO Security Group recently announced the creation of its Video Technologies and Services Division. The new division will have a single management and engineering focus and will offer a growing range of consumer friendly video and online products and services to its dealer base.

The ISee Video flagship product, its Video IP GatewayX24, puts any four new or existing video cameras online on a dedicated, secure internet Web site, which dealers in turn provide their accounts password-protected access to. Its plug-and-play technology eliminates the need for dealers to interact with the customer’s computer. There is no software to load, no data-ports to forward, no special central station to report in to and no PC-liability.

Since ISee Video’s standard Video IP Gateway is scalable/upgradeable, larger security dealer/providers can even opt to have the group set up and customize a video server of virtually any size for use and/or control from their own premises.

“It’s a natural sell for security dealers since busy customers love seeing their home or businesses while they’re away and the truly plug-and-play ISee Video adds peace of mind, whether they’re on the road, at the office or on vacation,” said Tom Karl, vice president of NAPCO. The establishment of this division, underscores Napco’s mission to offer a means of providing our dealer base with new, easily implemented sources of reaping incremental recurring revenue.
