VidSys Opens Offices in Europe and the Middle East

VidSys has opened offices in Europe and the Middle East. The company's global expansion will enable the company to help public and private organizations across the globe address their safety and security needs.

"VidSys is a clear market leader in the rapidly growing worldwide PSIM market," said Matia Grossi, physical security research manager at Frost & Sullivan. "The functionality provided by a true PSIM solution, such as the VidSys software, where data is converted to actionable intelligence, has become fundamental to cost effectively managing security situations for the public and private sectors."

The Europe and Middle East offices will directly support the numerous deployments underway in those regions as well as the global deployments of existing North American based customers. Vidsys has established an office in London to manage its European relationships. To lead these efforts, Darren Chalmers-Stevens has joined the company as director of business development. In this role, he will be responsible for driving sales and strategic partnership efforts throughout Europe. He will work closely with all European partners to support the sale and implementation of the VidSys PSIM software. Prior to joining VidSys, Chalmers-Stevens served as technology development manager for ADT UK&I and as vice president global professional services for Computer Network Limited (CNL).

In the Middle East, VidSys has partnered with Building Defence Systems (BDS), a telecommunications and defense systems company that will sell and implement the VidSys PSIM software in public and private organizations throughout the Middle East. "Public and private organizations worldwide are increasingly recognizing the need to incorporate PSIM software into their security ecosystems in order to proactively resolve business and security situations in real time," said Chuck Teubner, chairman and CEO of VidSys. "By officially establishing our presence in Europe and the Middle East, we are able to work more closely with companies as they implement our award-winning technology to help them more effectively and efficiently identify, manage and resolve unfolding situations."

VidSys continues to expand the features and functionalities of its VidSys PSIM software system. Building on the existing dynamic capabilities, the software now powers dynamic universal sharing for effective information distribution within or amongst multiple organizations - public or private. Organizations with the VidSys PSIM software can utilize universal sharing to provide views in to active situations or to specific pieces of information (video, maps, floor plans, etc.) for third parties assisting with a response. The benefit to the organization is that it is easier than ever for multiple organizations to share information and appropriate standard operating procedures necessary to resolve unfolding situations.
