Ready To Start ISC West

The editors of Security Products are back in Las Vegas for ISC West. With our comfortable shoes on and notepads and recorders at the ready, we are excited to attack our jam-packed schedules which are filled with media breakfasts, booth appointments galore and press dinners with vendors.

ISC West doesn’t waste any time in delivering timely, relevant information. Before the show opens, at 9 a.m. today, there is the “State of the Industry Panel,” where key leaders representing manufacturers, dealers, installers, integrators and end users will analyze current and future industry trends and discuss what they mean for their respective demographics. With the rapid technological advancement and integration, this will roundtable will certainly provide compelling insight.

The discussion is moderated by Sandra Jones, SJ&Co, and the panel includes Mike Howard, the general manager/CSO of Microsoft; Carey Boethel, vice president and business unit head of Security Solutions at Siemens Building Technologies; Jamie Rosand Haenggi, chief marketing and customer experience officer, at Protection 1; and Bill Taylor, president of Panasonic System Networks Company of America (PSNA).

If this is how ISC West kicks off the show this year, the next three days is going to be an insightful and fascinating experience.

If you weren’t able to come to the show this year, stay tuned to Security Products at http://www.secprodonline.com as we report the latest show news -- you’ll feel like you’re there. If you’re at the show, you’re no doubt busy with booth visits, so let us cover the show for you.

We’ll be tweeting from the show floor, uploading photos and report on the best ISC West has to offer!
