ASIS 2014, which will take place September 29–October 2 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Ga., is the world’s most influential security event. More than 20,000 security professionals from both the public and private sectors will convene to acquire timely and valuable industry information, make connections, and explore the latest technology solutions available.

Active law enforcement, military, and EMTs are granted free admission to all of the day’s educational programs, including a keynote presentation by General Colin Powell USA (Ret.) at 8:00 am.

Many high-quality education sessions on key topics of interest including terrorism, active shooters, cyber fraud, video use in public safety, the sovereign citizen threat, evacuation planning, safety and security at international events, using GIS Software for emergency management, and campus safety are available on October 1 and are included with this special one-day registration. A session at 11:00 a.m., “On the Scene with First Responders” will explore the six disciplines of first responders and the role of technology within each.

The one-day registration includes networking opportunities with peers from across industries along with access to the exhibit hall showcasing cutting-edge technology and services from more than 600 companies.

Admission also includes access to the ASIS and (ISC)2 Career Pavilion, where attendees will be able to take advantage of all the career-related services and how-to sessions, including transitioning into the private sector and daily panel sessions on career development topics.

A Law Enforcement/Military Appreciation Day Luncheon will be held October 1. Tickets can be purchased on-site or in advance ($50).
