Samsung and OnSSI to Premier New Benchmarks in Integration at ASIS

Samsung Techwin America and OnSSI will be introducing a new integrated solution that delivers higher levels of centralized system management and control, integral dewarping for improved wide area coverage, and high capacity in-camera network video recording (NVR) at the ASIS Seminar and Exhibition this month.

The new solution combines the industry-leading power and versatility of OnSSI's Ocularis VMS with Samsung's best-selling WiseNetIII IP cameras.

"Samsung WiseNetIII IP cameras continue to deliver new levels of performance and value for current and future trends in video surveillance and security system architecture," said Tom Cook, Vice President, Sales, North America, Samsung Techwin America. "Together with OnSSI's powerful Ocularis VMS platform, we are poised to leverage new enhancements to our WiseNetIII camera technology that provide our collective customers with even greater overall capabilities and efficiencies."

Samsung and OnSSI's new seamlessly integrated systems solution is ideal for applications in the retail, education, banking and mainstream SMB markets. The integrated solution will be demonstrated in the companies' respective exhibits at ASIS.

"By leveraging the centralized management and control power of the Ocularis VMS platform with the enhanced edge technology inherent in Samsung's WiseNet III cameras, we are effectively enabling a new system model that improves overall operation and performance while eliminating costly redundancies," said Ken LaMarca, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, OnSSI. "We are excited to bring this innovative integrated solution to market with our imaging partners at Samsung."
