MicroPower Highlights SOLVEIL Surveillance Platform at ASIS 2015

MicroPower Technologies Inc., an provider of surveillance solutions optimized for rapid, cost-effective deployment, continues to expand its global market reach as its signature SOLVEIL solar, wireless surveillance solution gains traction in the transportation, logistics, event management and education markets. The company will highlight the comprehensive capabilities and benefits of the SOLVEIL platform at this month’s 2015 ASIS International Annual Conference and Exhibits in Anaheim, Calif., from Sept. 28-Oct.1, at booth #3273.

ASIS demonstrates an opportunity for MicroPower to showcase its award-winning SOLVEIL Surveillance Solution to the end user community. SOLVEIL leverages an integrated solar and wireless design to deliver video coverage in areas previously unreachable by traditional surveillance systems. Its unique patented architecture helps reduce installation complexity and minimize deployment time.

As demand for SOLVEIL continues to grow, MicroPower has expanded its sales and support network. As part of a collaborative agreement to provide the maximum level of sales support and knowledge for the partner channel and end users, MicroPower has added two new manufacturer’s representative firms, ASR Enterprises and KAM Sales.  Additionally, MicroPower recently added an online partner certification program for sales and technical training.

MicroPower will also highlight its compliance with ONVIF, an open forum that seeks to further the development and use of global standards for IP-based devices. In early October, the SOLVEIL solution will be conformant with Profile S, which outlines the common functionalities shared by ONVIF-conformant video management systems and IP cameras that send, configure, request or control the streaming of media data over an IP network.

“MicroPower is dedicated to delivering solutions that allow users to quickly access high-quality, critical security data in difficult-to-reach locations while simplifying complex installations for our integration partners,” said Dave Tynan, vice president of Global Marketing and Sales, MicroPower Technologies. “Additionally, our commitment to open systems enables our customers to take advantage of a multi-layered approach to security in perimeter and remote applications.”
