Vanderbilt Adds Industry Veteran as Director of Product Lines

Vanderbilt today announced the addition of Glen Greer as Director of Product Lines. Greer comes to Vanderbilt with a deep understanding of business and product strategy, and will work closely with the engineering team to improve product development.

Greer is a 25-year veteran of the security industry and over the course of his career, has held a variety of senior level positions in the technology sector. He has served as President of Radionics (acquired by Bosch), President of Casi-Rusco (acquired by GE) and Vice President of Shared Technologies, Assa Abloy AB. Greer has also guided established and startup organizations as a consultant, and assisted financial firms with investments in the security market.

“I am pleased to have the opportunity to join the Vanderbilt team,” Greer said. “I am looking forward to leveraging my expertise to help drive future product innovations and engineering within this dynamic and growing organization.”

Greer will be based in Dublin, Ireland, and will work closely with Vanderbilt’s Intrusion, Access Control and Video Surveillance solutions groups to identify future product enhancements and opportunities for innovation. With the recent acquisition of Siemens’ Security Products, Greer’s knowledge of product development will help to expand Vanderbilt’s global presence, and further boost its technology and service capabilities to meet the global demands of its customers.
