While ISC West doesn't step into high gear until next Wednesday, April 6 with the opening of the exhibit hall, the actual conference starts the day before with a number of interesting and unique educational sessions.
System integrators should definitely take a look at PSA-TEC @ ISC. This one day session will take place on Tuesday, April 5.
If you haven't heard of the PSA Security Network, it is dedicated to providing system integrators with the necessary training to be successful in a number of areas including business, service, system design, installation, and deployment.
And the full-day session will help integrators learn more about the industry. Some of the topics to be discussed includes video analytics. IT skills in the physical security space, cyber security, and much more.
To find out more about the conference or to register, head to the ISC West site here.
Once again this year, I plan on using Twitter extensively to give everyone up-to-date information on what is making news at the show. Make sure to follow @SecProds. I'll start Tweeting with the start of my schedule on Wednesday morning.
My schedule is full of appointments and other events, but if you get a chance during the show, stop me and say hi. I enjoy meeting as many people as possible and learning more about the world of security.
Even if you're not going to the show, feel free to e-mail me at bdirks@1105media.com with any show announcements or news. And make sure to keep an eye out for the newsletters from Las Vegas all next week.
