Open Options Releases DNA Fusion Version 7

Open Options has announced the official release of DNA Fusion version 7.

Open Options has announced the official release of DNA Fusion version 7, the most advanced version of the company’s DNA Fusion flagship access control platform. Version 7 offers an updated user interface, increased functionality, and new integrations with security industry leaders.

“We are very excited to be announcing the general release of DNA Fusion version 7 to our customer base,” said Steve Fisher, Founder & CEO of Open Options. “This release contains more improvements and added integrations than we have ever put out before, and stands to deliver even more value to our clients currently running DNA Fusion and future customers alike.”

One of the most notable advancements of version 7 proves to be the expansive integration of third-party systems through Open Options Flex API (Application Programming Interface), which provides a mechanism for external parties to develop an interface to the Fusion software. Version 7 introduces solid integrations with the ISONAS Pure IP line, thyssenkrupp and Otis elevator dispatch systems, Traka asset management solutions, and an updated intrusion detection integration with Bosch.

Open Options’ software development team has worked diligently to ensure the newest version of DNA Fusion offers dramatic improvements toward a quick and simple install and configuration, and a seamless migration from previous versions of DNA Fusion. Version 7 has had extensive work done to the database and its indexes, which could potentially hinder the upgrade process for large customers or sites with a high number of transactions. In order for the upgrade to go as smoothly as possible, we recommend checking out these guidelines.

Open Options will be demonstrating the new features of DNA Fusion this week during ASIS at booth #625.
