Orion Entrance Control Brings Innovative, Customizable Optical Turnstiles to PSA Security Network

Orion Entrance Control, Inc., a leading manufacturer of innovative optical turnstile solutions, has joined PSA Security Network in a partnership that will offer Orion’s customizable, technologically-advanced speed lanes to the thousands of security professionals in the PSA marketplace.

“We’re thrilled to join the PSA Security Network of industry professionals and to be able to offer our optical turnstile, speed lane, and lobby security products to this growing sector of the market,” said Orion ECI President and Founder Steve Caroselli. “We believe that once PSA Security Network members evaluate what Orion ECI has to offer, they will see that our solutions surpass what they typically encounter when evaluating turnstile products.”

Headquartered in New Hampshire, Orion ECI manufactures American-made speed lanes and turnstiles with the latest in technological innovation including integrated biometrics, POS, and more. PSA is the world’s largest systems integrator cooperative made up of the most progressive security and audio-visual systems integrators in North America. Combined, PSA members boast more than 400 branch locations, employ 7,500 industry professionals and are responsible for $4.5 billion annually in security, fire, life safety and pro audio-visual installations.

Orion ECI is a “different kind of turnstile manufacturer” with a “unique approach to the industry that adds value that PSA Security Network members won’t find elsewhere,” said Caroselli.

“Of course, we offer a full line of standard turnstiles and speed lanes that will serve those looking for an out-of-the-box solution, but we also offer customizable options for those deployments that can’t be outfitted with a standard product,” Caroselli said. “I think many in this sector of the security market know that no two jobs are alike and flexibility is often needed in outfitting lobbies and entrances with security options or when replacing or rebuilding existing solutions.”

Orion ECI Director of Global Business Development Tom Elliott compares choosing the right turnstile to buying a car.

“If you look at the outside of a couple of comparable speed lanes or turnstiles, they probably look the same,” said Elliot. “But it’s like looking at cars. From the outside, yes, they look the same, but go under the hood and you can see the distinctive features and examine the real differences. The way we build our products at Orion ECI is different and when people take the time to take a look they recognize it. We invite PSA Security Network members to look under the hood to see what we can offer them. They will find an impressive machine that can help them and their customers build an effective security solution.”

Some of those impressive features found “under the hood” of Orion ECI turnstiles include Infinity Remote Lane Control, an in-house developed lane management software.

Orion ECI products are now available on the PSA Security Network. To view vendor listings or to learn more about PSA, visit www.psasecurity.com.
