Securityhunter Awarded Social Security Administration Blanket Purchase Agreement

Securityhunter Inc., located in Baltimore, MD, received a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to continue providing security systems and support services for Social Security Administration (SSA) locations nationwide.

Securityhunter was competitively awarded a BPA against its General Services Administration (GSA), Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract, to provide security systems and support services to various SSA locations nationwide. The Period of Performance is Oct. 30 through Sept. 29, 2025, and is estimated at $87 million. This BPA provides standardized video surveillance systems, intrusion detection systems, duress alarms, and physical access control systems, and consists of equipment, installation, maintenance, and support services at SSA offices.

The initiative is referred to as Physical Security Systems Standardization and Support Services.

“This is a very significant win for Securityhunter, which will soon be an employee owned company,” said Michael S. Rogers, founder and CEO. “This award means the employees can continue on our path to success in securing our Nation.”

The award of the BPA allows Securityhunter, Inc. to save the government funds by reducing the administrative costs of acquiring commercial services from the GSA Federal Supply Schedule.

“We’re extremely happy to be able to continue supporting the SSA, our entire staff is excited about this award.” said Ross Nelson, executive director.

"This is a team win. Over the last five years, Securityhunter’s team of dedicated employees, subcontractors, and the SSA have worked together in a synergistic environment to support the physical security requirements of SSA,” said Brian Vanderhoof, program manager. “I know that all of us will bring that same level of team performance and success to the follow-on contract. Any contract win is sweet, but as the incumbent, it is that much more so.”
