New AI Platform Automates Building Visitor Management

Digital solution replaces manual clipboards with real-time screening, watch list integration, and automated compliance reporting.

A new automated enterprise visitor management system has been launched to replace antiquated paper-based sign-in methods in corporate lobbies.

The platform, HELIAUS Guest, is an expansion of Allied Universal’s AI-driven workforce management solution. It is designed to manage every stage of the visitor experience by simplifying pre-screening and automating compliance reporting.

Steve Jones, global chairman and CEO of Allied Universal, said the technology reflects a shift in how organizations secure facilities and manage access. Jones noted that bringing automation and intelligence to the front door helps clients maintain stronger oversight and create safer environments for employees and guests.

The platform is available in the U.S. and automates security processes to help mitigate risk.

Recent data indicates that 28% of security leaders consider unauthorized access a top concern, making insider risk management a priority. The system allows administrators to set up automatic watch lists to instantly notify security if a restricted individual attempts to enter a facility.

The software also verifies identification credentials and generates audit trails to simplify risk management and compliance.

Mark Mullison, Allied Universal chief technology officer, said the platform addresses the pressure on companies to modernize lobbies and protect occupants by moving away from manual logs.

The system is designed to run on desktops, tablets, or mobile devices. It features a simplified licensing process where one license covers an entire building.

Steven Litherland, physical security operations manager for ACI Worldwide, said the implementation of the system at several facilities has transformed the visitor management experience and surpassed expectations.
