NetMotion Wireless, a provider of mobile productivity and management software, recently announced that Gallatin County, Mont. which encompasses the City of Bozeman, has deployed NetMotion's mobile Virtual Private Network (VPN) on laptops used by area police and fire department personnel.

GE announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement with United Technologies Corp. for UTC to acquire GE’s Security business for $1.82 billion. The transaction has been approved by the Boards of both companies, and will be subject to customary closing conditions including regulatory approvals.
