The Security Industry Association (SIA) has appointed eight industry leaders and veterans to serve as Advisory Board members for SIA Veterans in Security, a new community focused on the issues and concerns of veterans and active military members who are in, or are interested in joining, the security industry.
Cybersecurity is the top technology priority for the vast majority of organizations, but moving from aspiration to reality requires a top-to-bottom commitment that many companies have yet to make, according to new research released today by CompTIA, the nonprofit association for the technology industry and workforce.

The FBI released detailed data on over 14 million criminal offenses for 2023 reported to the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program by participating law enforcement agencies.
