Stanley CSS Announces Convergence Center Of Excellence

Stanley Convergent Security Solutions (Stanley CSS) has announced the establishment a new Convergence Center of Excellence.

“There is a paradigm shift in the system integration and physical security information management (PSIM) space, which is changing the overall security industry landscape and solutions’ approach, as to how these complex enterprise-level integrated and convergent systems are specified, designed, delivered and supported throughout the customers’ project life cycle,” said Damon Kanzler, Stanley CSS vice president of national account operations.

The traditional approach to the security system integration business is highly segmented, with various disconnects and gaps between the vendors, solution providers and the end-users.

Stanley CSS has long held the belief that customers are seeking comprehensive solutions that avoid the segmented approach commonly taken by the traditional security industry.  This type of approach includes technical competency, domain expertise and project management-centric solutions that address the customers’ broader business goals and objectives. This relieves internal management burdens on the customer as they are under constant pressure to reduce costs and to do more with less resources and budget.

The new Convergence Center of Excellence allows Stanley CSS to break the traditional mold by taking a comprehensive, consultative and partnership approach to identifying customers’ needs in order to customize the best fit system integration solution, to maximize the return on investment and to minimize the total cost of ownership over the project investment life cycle.

The new CCE takes Stanley CSS’ existing holistic, customer-centric system integration approach to an even higher level of support and infrastructure for customers and their enterprise solutions, by establishing a centralized organization, fully dedicated to world-class, enterprise-level integration solutions, design, delivery and support to customers across North America.

Located in Noblesville, Ind., the CCE organization is fully integrated with the company’s employees operating from field offices across North America to provide the needed resources and support to engineer, design, develop, deliver and manage successful projects through value engineering and large project management, including customized software solutions.

“By bringing together previously separated, specialized clusters the CCE is able to utilize its top talent to increase sales, accuracy of equipment requirements, operating margins and ultimately customer satisfaction,” said Bill Fitzhenry, Stanley CSS vice president of field sales for North America.

“As one of the largest systems integrators and third largest electronic security company in the U.S., Stanley CSS is focused on providing its customers with a partnership that delivers comprehensive integrated solutions to meet their changing needs. By investing in the Stanley CCE organization and process, we build upon our existing local field expertise in system design, operations, project management and technical applications while maintaining our experience with local codes and requirements. This new approach gives our customers the continued local touch their projects need and adds the global resources and expertise that makes Stanley CSS unique. The CCE model and infrastructure continues to add more global capabilities to our portfolio as one of the industry’s leaders in system integration.”
