OnSSI Integrates VMS with Lextech Labs' iRa C3 Mobile Video Surveillance Application

OnSSI has announced that its flagship video management platform, Ocularis, has passed Lextech Lab’s compatibility testing. As a result, Lextech’s iRa C3 mobile video surveillance application will support OnSSI’s software and meet the mobile viewing requirements of the security and law enforcement industry.

“The successful integration of iRa C3 further extends OnSSI’s user base,” said Mulli Diamant, vice president of sales for OnSSI. “In addition to the obvious benefits of heightened situational awareness, being able to use a video surveillance system in conjunction with today’s most widely used mobile devices capitalizes on a user’s investments in IP-based systems.”

Using Lextech Lab’s mobile video surveillance application, iRa C3, users can access and control multiple video feeds, as well as view recorded video in a split-screen format on an iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch or Blackberry mobile device. The application allows the iRa C3 to log in to the OnSSI system for quick and portable viewing and control of cameras located anywhere on the network.

“Pairing the functionality of OnSSI’s platform with iRa C3’s intuitive mobile video interface broadens the value of an OnSSI investment by extending back room systems into the hands of a new user. Not only do those new users now have access to critical video anytime, anywhere, they are also inventing ways to use the video,” said Alex Bratton, founder and CEO of Lextech Labs.

OnSSI’s Ocularis IP Video Management solution is an open-architecture, non-proprietary software platform that allows viewing, management and recording of video from an unlimited number of IP and non-IP video surveillance cameras. Ocularis also allows for video storage management and can correlate and fuse video and non-video events and alerts resulting in automatic video delivery to subscribers of interest.
