LifeShield Security Hires Evan Kramer to Drive Online Marketing Efforts

LifeShield Security has hired Evan Kramer as senior vice president, interactive and e-commerce division. In his new role, Kramer’s primary responsibility will be to lead LifeShield's online marketing efforts and extend them to include a wide range of interactive media channels including search, social media and others. Evan also will head efforts for LifeShield's specialized app development for the iPhone, Droid, BlackBerry and iPad, as well as the LifeView product.

"Evan has a solid track record building successful brands via an engaged, online audience," said Mike Hagan, CEO, LifeShield Security. "People today spend so much of their day online. As a company, we recognize the tremendous opportunity to connect personally with tens of thousands of current and potential customers and the ability to develop lasting relationships with them using all the avenues of social media."

Prior to joining LifeShield, Kramer created, launched and managed several successful consumer brands, including ezprints, a photo personalization solution, and VacationRoost.com, a website offering more than 150,000 professionally managed homes, condos and cabins in 80 destinations around the world. Kramer also created and launched GoHoming.com, an online auction marketplace for real estate assets. He was also part of the initial group for Cox Enterprises to launch Kudzu.com, AutoTrader.com and AjcJobs.com.

"LifeShield is the No. 1 lifestyle home security product in the industry because its technology is much more user-friendly than what you get with other home security systems still stuck on old hardwired technology," Kramer said. "My group will be laser focused on building an interactive customer community and finding new ways to reach prospective customers. We also will continue to create new Web and mobile features for our customers that put our system far ahead of anything offered by the competition."

Kramer began his career as an accountant and corporate finance executive for PricewaterhouseCoopers. He holds a BBA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Emory. He is on the board of advisors for MojoPages.com and board of directors for the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association.
