Vanderbilt Collaborates with Heartland Campus Solutions

Companies to provide customized access control solutions to the higher education market

Vanderbilt Industries has announced an agreement to work with Heartland Campus Solutions, a division of Heartland Payment Systems, to deliver customized solutions and integrations to the higher education market. Vanderbilt will provide its award-winning access control systems to Heartland customers in the Midwest.

As part of the collaboration, Vanderbilt will provide its access control solutions to the higher education facilities with which Heartland works.

Heartland works with the Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges and Universities that gives WAICU members the option to purchase a Heartland system without undergoing the request for proposal (RFP) process. Vanderbilt’s access control solutions will be available to WAICU members at a discounted rate as part of this agreement.

“Vanderbilt is a well-known name in access control for higher education facilities, and we are pleased to have the opportunity to work with them to provide comprehensive solutions for our customers,” said Ron Farmer, senior vice president, Heartland Campus Solutions. “Working with Vanderbilt offers us a variety of access control solutions that can meet the unique needs of our customers and integrate easily with existing hardware, software and security management systems.”

Heartland delivers forward-thinking solutions to the higher education community. For decades, the company has worked with colleges and universities to customize a solution that fits each institution’s needs to run a more efficient business, better manage payments and refunds, improve business processes, secure access, streamline loan servicing, manage tax documents and create a better student experience throughout the campus.
