ISC West Prep

With less than a week to go before ISC West officially kicks off, preparing for the tradeshow is a must. This will be my first year attending, and I've often heard stories from other editors about how large this show is. Simply put, it can be very intimidating, especially for those who are either new to the industry or haven't been to many tradeshows of this caliber before.

For me, I will only be attending ISC West for two days. Even with that short amount of time, it's still important to schedule your days and make sure you have enough time to attend sessions or chat with those most important to your company.

I will be attending only a few sessions, but the major focus of my trip will be chatting with companies at their booths. I'll be checking out new products and any other information those companies will like to share.

Since ISC West is such a large show with so many exhibitors, sessions and more, I've outlined a few things I've had to do in order to really prepare myself for the days I'll be there.

First things first, I downloaded a map/floor plan of the show. Since I'll be meeting with various companies, I want to make sure I can find the booths I need to get to, and to be on time.

I've also downloaded the ISC West mobile apps. It's already on my cell phone, just rearing to go. You can sign in with your badge number, and then you're given a full list of exhibitors, check out the interactive floor map, save any sessions you'd like to attend, and even check out certain specials that'll be going on during the show. I have a feeling this will be very handy!

I've checked to see how far my hotel is from the show, and I believe I'm ready for the trip. Can't wait to see y'all there!
