Tampa International Airport to Allow Non-Travelers to See Passengers Through Security

With its new All Access program, Tampa International Airport will let non-ticketed people go through security and enter an airport terminal in order to see their loved ones to their terminal or greet them right as they arrive

Last week, Tampa International Airport announced its new All Access program, which will allow people who aren’t flying to go through security and into an airport terminal in order to spend more time with loved ones before they leave or see them right as they get off the plane.

The All Access program, which began May 4, allows up to 100 people each Saturday to go through the security process and enter an airport terminal of their choice. The airport chose to test the program on Saturdays, as those are the least busy days at TSA checkpoints, but it could expand the program if all goes well.

Non-travelers are still required to go through the same security screening process as passengers with boarding passes. When they sign up for the program, they are able to choose a date and terminal at least 24 hours before the day they want to visit the airport and pick up gate passes on that date, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Those interested can sign up for the program at www.TPAallaccess.com. Each terminal is limited to only 25 guest passes on any given day.
