With more than 1 million customers in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, Brinks continues to drive its customer base skyward. They also employ 1,700 employees at their Farmers Branch, Texas, location.

“The pandemic has not slowed us down as we have added new accounts,” said William Niles, CEO of Brinks Home Security. “We’re offering the latest technology in the smart home vertical. Even during COVID-19, we continued our field services with technicians in the field to ensure security was not a worry for our customers. We also have found that people want advanced technology.

“It is an exciting time in this industry. We are here to help the end users to whatever extent they need. We’re able to provide a smooth transition and an improved experience in smart home security.”

Brinks Home “Do it for Me” model is a convenient method to providing security at home. It is not just for higher-end dwellings, but it might not be for everyone. “We’re here to provide support to any customer,” Niles said. “We want to combine security as a value proposition so that this is a win-win proposal.”

Hexagon’s Accur8vision is a volumetric detection system that employs LiDAR technology to safeguard entire areas. Whenever it detects movement in a specified zone, it automatically differentiates a threat from a nonthreat, and immediately notifies security staff if necessary. Person detection is carried out within a radius of 80 meters from this device. Connected remotely via a portable computer device, it enables remote surveillance and does not depend on security staff patrolling the area.
