Genetec to Showcase Latest Innovations at ISC West 2025

At ISC West 2025, at booth #13062, Genetec Inc., the global leader in enterprise physical security software, will showcase solutions that provide end users with a practical pathway to modernizing their physical security operations while ensuring seamless interoperability between on-premises and SaaS environments. Visitors to the show will be able to get first-hand demonstrations of the latest version of Security Center SaaS, including the addition of intrusion management, as well as the newly announced Genetec Cloudlink™ 210 appliance.

Security Center SaaS now features intrusion management

Genetec will showcase the latest version of Security Center SaaS, its cloud-managed, unified security platform. With the addition of intrusion management, organizations will be able to detect, verify, and respond to threats in real-time while automating security workflows for greater efficiency. By unifying intrusion detection with video surveillance, access control, identity, and visitor management, Security Center SaaS delivers a fully unified, open, cloud-managed platform supported by the Genetec Cloudlink line of appliances.

Introducing Cloudlink 210: a multi-workload cloud-managed appliance

Also making its ISC West debut, Genetec Cloudlink 210 is the industry's first open architecture, cloud-managed appliance designed to support multiple security workloads, including video management, access control, and intrusion management. Acting as a cybersecure bridge between on-premises security systems and the cloud, Cloudlink 210 enables businesses to modernize their security infrastructure at their own pace. Customers can select the hardware that best fits their needs or continue using their existing investments—such as cameras, access control hardware, or intrusion panels. By leveraging Cloudlink 210, Security Center SaaS users achieve seamless integration between on-premises and cloud-based environments while enhancing their cybersecurity resilience.

“Our latest innovations continue to push the boundaries of physical security technology," said Alain Bissada, Area Vice President - North America at Genetec Inc. "With Security Center SaaS and Cloudlink 210, we're providing our customers with practical, scalable, and cybersecure solutions that give them the flexibility to move components and sites to the cloud on their own terms. For our partners, this provides new options for their customers. Integrators can deploy workloads where it makes the most sense for each customer's unique needs.”

Expanding access control solutions

Genetec will also showcase its expanding ecosystem of non-proprietary, scalable access control solutions. Visitors to the Genetec booth will have the opportunity to see demos at a pod dedicated to the Genetec and Mercury partnership, featuring Mercury panels that can be paired with the Synergis™ Cloud Link, an intelligent IoT gateway appliance that connects on-premises devices to a hybrid or cloud deployment. Additionally, Genetec will showcase the new Axis Powered by Genetec 4-door and 8-door direct-to-cloud controllers. This all-in-one solution integrates Synergis access control with supported Axis network door controllers, offering a powerful, easy-to-deploy option.

  • The Evolution of IP Camera Intelligence

As the 30th anniversary of the IP camera approaches in 2026, it is worth reflecting on how far we have come. It did something that no analog system could: transmit video over a standard IP network. Read Now

  • From Surveillance to Intelligence

Years ago, it would have been significantly more expensive to run an analytic like that — requiring a custom-built solution with burdensome infrastructure demands — but modern edge devices have made it accessible to everyone. It also saves time, which is a critical factor if a missing child is involved. Video compression technology has played a critical role as well. Over the years, significant advancements have been made in video coding standards — including H.263, MPEG formats, and H.264—alongside compression optimization technologies developed by IP video manufacturers to improve efficiency without sacrificing quality. The open-source AV1 codec developed by the Alliance for Open Media—a consortium including Google, Netflix, Microsoft, Amazon and others — is already the preferred decoder for cloud-based applications, and is quickly becoming the standard for video compression of all types.
