Netrio Appoints Kevin Charest to Lead Cyber Governance

Kevin Charest joins Netrio as vice president of cyber governance services to scale AI-driven security and risk management for enterprise clients.

Netrio, a global managed service provider, has appointed Kevin Charest as vice president of cyber governance services.

In the newly created leadership role, Charest will oversee cybersecurity strategy, innovation, and delivery across the company’s global portfolio. His focus includes expanding security frameworks and integrating proactive risk management into the company’s AI-driven service delivery model.

Charest joins the company with more than 30 years of experience in the public and private sectors. He previously served as chief information security officer for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and held senior leadership roles for Fortune 500 enterprises.

Charest will collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance threat intelligence and develop strategic partner alliances in security technology.

A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army, Charest holds a doctorate in cybersecurity, an MBA, and a bachelor’s degree in computer science.

Netrio is an IT managed service provider headquartered in McKinney, Texas, with additional operations in Minnesota, New York, Northern Ireland, and India.
