Boon Edam staff next to new Turnlock product

Boon Edam and Sitemetric Launch Mobile Construction Security Solution

A customized full-height turnstile combines mobile physical entry gates with digital access tracking for active jobsites.

Physical entrance manufacturer Boon Edam Inc. has partnered with jobsite tech provider Sitemetric to launch a mobile security turnstile designed for active construction sites.

The product, sold as the Sitemetric Deluxe Turnstile, combines Boon Edam’s Turnlock 100 Mobile platform with Sitemetric’s access control software. Mounted on a steel diamond-plate base, the self-contained unit moves via forklift without requiring anchor bolts or fixed infrastructure.

The mobile design allows project managers to relocate entry points as construction perimeters shift. Units ship pre-assembled with integrated access control hardware, enabling fast setup on site.

Under the agreement, Boon Edam manufactures and warehouses the customized units at its North Carolina factory, shipping directly to customer locations. The turnstiles connect to Sitemetric’s central operations center, which monitors site access around the clock.

Boon Edam began shipments of the standardized mobile units earlier this year to support growing demand across commercial and industrial infrastructure projects.
