ScrapWare Integrates IDScannet Technology for Efficient ID Capture

The integration with IDScan.net allows scrap and recycling businesses to capture customer ID information automatically during transactions.

ScrapWare has integrated IDScan.net’s ParseLink technology into its point-of-sale platform to help scrap and recycling businesses automate customer identification during transactions and support compliance with state and local anti-theft requirements.

The integration allows operators to capture information from government-issued identification documents, using compatible scanners to automatically populate customer records in ScrapWare. This transfers the captured data directly into the software’s records.

Scrap and recycling businesses may be required under state and local laws to collect identification from sellers. The technology can streamline the collection of information required during these transactions.

ParseLink works with compatible scanners to extract information from IDs and transfer it into ScrapWare’s purchasing workflow. The integration automates the transfer of identification information into ScrapWare’s purchasing workflow.

Under the partnership, ScrapWare will also resell IDScan.net solutions, including ParseLink and supported ID scanning hardware.
