DSI Security Services Ranks High on National Best Companies List

Alabama security provider secures No 45 spot on inaugural TIME list evaluating employee satisfaction and societal impact.

A national security provider headquartered in Alabama earned a top spot on a new national ranking evaluating top privately held businesses across the United States.

DSI Security Services placed No. 45 on the inaugural TIME America’s Best Private Companies of 2026 list, which highlights 500 leading private firms nationwide. Published in partnership with research firm Statista, the ranking measures organizations based on direct employee feedback alongside contributions to society, knowledge, health and the environment.

The ranking places the company among only four Alabama-based enterprises to reach the national top 100.

Established in 1969 as a family-owned operation in Dothan, the company has expanded into a nationwide security provider. Its operations encompass tailored security staffing, integrated technology systems and professional officer deployments across multiple sectors.

The publication’s inaugural 500-company index marks a new effort by Statista and TIME to quantify corporate performance among non-public businesses using workforce metrics and public impact data rather than public stock valuation.
