Gallagher Security Automates Access Control With New Software Update

New features streamline credential approvals, introduce biometric integrations and connect reporting tools to business intelligence platforms.

Gallagher Security launched its Command Centre v9.50 software update, shifting manual security administration tasks to digital automation.

The update integrates AccessNow, a cloud-native platform that automates access and credential requests from submission to provisioning. The system allows users to submit requests from mobile devices and automatically routes approvals based on pre-configured workflows.

The software also adds a PIN exemption feature designed for accessibility needs. This function permits specific individuals to bypass numerical PIN requirements in dual-authentication zones without altering the broader facility security architecture.

For high-security entry points, the update introduces compatibility with the VisionPass SP Fingerscan Module. The hardware integration combines facial recognition and fingerprint scanning, allowing administrators to use the authentication methods independently or concurrently.

Data processing capabilities were also expanded through a new reporting dataset. The software update enables users to export security system logs directly into third-party business intelligence and analytics applications, including Microsoft Power BI, Tableau and Microsoft Excel.
