Latest Security Products, Innovations To Be Unveiled At IFSEC

IFSEC, the world’s largest annual security event, will be the platform for numerous product and innovation launches this week at the NEC Birmingham in the United Kingdom.

More than 600 market leading names have already confirmed they will be exhibiting at IFSEC 2009. In addition, the New Product and Technology Showcases seminar theatre will house informative educational sessions looking at the latest developments of some of the industry’s leading names including ASSA ABLOY, Axis Communications, Cisco, Dedicated Micros, HIK Vision, IndigoVision, JVC Professional Europe, Samsung Techwin, Sony Europe and Tyco.

Samsung Electronics will be using IFSEC to unveil its latest Digital Signal Processing technology which is set to be incorporated into its entire range of analogue cameras. Amongst the various benefits, the new technology will offer an increase in resolution to 600 TV lines, remote camera configuration via the video coaxial cable and improved noise reduction.

Gunnebo UK, a member of the Sweden-based Gunnebo Security Group, will showcase two of its latest products: The Elkosta Truck Stopper, which can stop a 7.5-ton truck at 82 kilometers per hour; and the Quick Folding Gate, which can open and close in under six seconds.

In addition to hosting the IP Revolution Roadshow, IndigoVision will also be demonstrating a number of new products on its stand including the HD 10000 series of IP cameras and a H.264-based PTZ IP-dome from its successful 9000 range of standard 4SIF cameras.

Genie CCTV is launching its new range of CCTV, IP and Access Control products at the show. Furthermore, Genie representatives will be showcasing new security technologies on their stand including bullet cameras, dome cameras, digital video recorders, H.264 network cameras, wireless networking products and a new range of access control products such as electro magnet locks, biometric keypads and proximity readers.

Finally, Electronics Line 3000 will be demonstrating its new interactive remote management applications as part of its iConnect solution. The applications include personalized location-based services, a dedicated WAP user interface and advanced video capabilities.
