LILIN North America has introduced its first 4K Ultra HD camera, the UHG1182. The 12.0 megapixel CMOS camera delivers 3840 x 2160 pixel pictures at 30 frames-per-second, or four times the resolution of HDTV 1080p, with razor-sharp detail and brilliant saturated colors. Because it is capable of capturing detailed images across expansive areas, it is perfectly-suited for parking lots, as well as in airports, casinos and city surveillance. The UHG1182 features HDR (high dynamic range) mode, IR-cut filter for day/night imaging, and 4K True H.264 AVC High Profile Video Compression.
System Sensor
Meet the new DUCTSD – a duct smoke detector that simplifies testing with a cover-integrated smoke test port. DUCTSD’s cover-integrated smoke test port enables contractors to test the detector’s operation using any approved aerosol test smoke without the need of special tools or attachments. The streamlined DUCTSD uses a plug-in photoelectric smoke sensor with operating conditions ranging from -4 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit, and air speeds from 100 to 4,000 feet per minute. On the inside of that cover is QR code that links directly to the installation manual on the System Sensor website.

The RSI Videofied Outdoor MotionViewer is a wireless, battery-operated camera designed to protect outdoor residential and commercial installations. Consisting of a digital camera, passive infrared motion detector and a spread spectrum S2View radio module, each detector transmits a check-in signal every eight minutes to the alarm panel in order to continuously monitor its surroundings. Upon detecting an intruder, the MotionViewer records a short video clip and transmits it to the control panel – aiding in faster police response and reduced losses. The MotionViewer is powered by four lithium batteries for a typical battery life of four years or more.
Mavin Technologies
Mavin Technologies announced Mavin Security Management Platform version 4.0. Mavin’s first mobile app for iOS devices is introduced with version 4.0. The Mavin Mobile App allows system operators to view cardholder access activity, receive real time notifications within the app, view a door’s lock state, and even momentary unlock system doors. It includes a number of other advancements including repeating audio notifications for alarm activity, new graphics/map design functionality, interactive control panel firmware updates and downloads, as well as a number of usability and user interface improvements.

Models include compact vandal resistant domes (VRDs), in-ceiling domes (ICDs), box cameras, bullet cameras and a selection of new PTZ cameras with improved True WDR. Platinum Tools
Platinum Tools is proud to announce the new 6-inch (p/n # 12206C) and 8.5-inch (p/n # 12201C) Lineman’s Pliers. Both sizes feature a 6140CrV drop forged carbon alloy steel body with a hardness level of 45 ±3 and a blade hardness of 58-61 to ensure a clean cut for years to come. With a polished finish, the tool has both great functionality and looks. The 6-inch version is the miniature version of its 8.5-inch big brother, but the compact smaller design allows it to get into places the larger Lineman’s Pliers won’t fit.

Honeywell
MAXPRO® Cloud is an integrated, cloud-based video and access management system that enables organizations to significantly streamline multi-site management. The system features a single sign-on, an integrated business analytics system built directly within the cloud system and custom remote management options. The system’s scalability makes it applicable to a wide range of applications, from a campus of two buildings to a multi-national franchise. Users can view live or recorded video from a computer or mobile device, and can export and email snapshots or clips.
Toshiba America
Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. introducted its first “Ultra HD” IP video surveillance cameras, the IKS-WB9518, able to capture 4K video in 3840 x 2160 resolution at a rate of 25 frames per second. By offering Ultra HD resolution, the IKS-WB9518 provides the high level of detail required for an enterprise to more effectively watch for intruders, capture fast moving objects, monitor large expansive areas, and assist in collecting forensic evidence when a crime has occurred. Additionally, its deployment can reduce the number of conventional HD cameras needed by nearly 50 percent due to its ability to cover very wide spaces.
OPTEX is expanding its series of REDSCAN laser sensors with the launch of a new short range, indoor model. The RLS-2020I is an indoor sensor using a new generation of laser that provides a customizable ‘virtual’ wall or pane with a detection area up to 20m (65ft) x 20m (65ft) to identify the presence of people or objects. It protects areas from security breaches such as intrusion, theft or unauthorized access as well as improving the reliability of video based motion detection and surveillance.

Building upon the architecture of the System Integrator platform which includes a robust D-Tools Cloud infrastructure, this major release adds over 50 significant new productivity features and enhancements that make it faster and easier than ever for Residential and Commercial AV, Higher Ed, and Security integrators, consultants, tech managers and systems designers to perform key functions of their business—estimation, system design, and project management. SI 2016 offers improvements in virtually every functional area including integrations with SupplyStream and QuickBooks Online, purchase order management and numerous improvements to reporting, scheduling, and Mobile Install.
Evolis
Evolis introduces a new touch screen color option for its range of desktop card printers: Primac, Zenius and Elypso. The touch screen enables users to interact in real time with the printer without being in front of a computer. Set in 16 languages, the touch screen of 2.4 inches is ideal for desk applications and any other use for which the card printer is far from the computer. This new option is a real time saver for users as they can print directly from the options on the screen, or even trigger a cleaning.

The ADPRO® iFT™ with XOa™ 3 by Xtralis is a remotely programmable NVR and management tool for multisite monitoring and threat detection. It offers remote monitoring features such as arming and disarming, video recording, analytics and an open platform that integrates with third-party software. The platform also integrates with the XOa 3 SecurityPlus Remote Programmable Operating System, allowing security guards to expand their surveillance capabilities through additional features such as smoke verification, building management and business intelligence.

ISONAS Inc. announced Pure Access, a software platform. The software brings new features and functionality to access control that highlights the unique capabilities of a Pure IP hardware solution. The access point configuration wizard allows integrators to handle all diagnostic testing of their wiring at the door and ensure a fully functioning access point all from their mobile device. Camden Door Controls unveiled its SureWave™ CM-330 Series of active infrared, hands-free switches. CM-110SK is a single door, multifunctional stand-alone keypad, with a Wiegand output for interfacing to an access control system. This unit supports up to 2000 users with a 4 digit PIN. The unit has many extra features including lock output current short circuit protection, anti-tamper, and a backlit keypad. Housed in a strong, vandal proof zinc alloy electroplated case; it's suitable for mounting in both indoor and harsh outdoor environments. The electronics are fully potted so the unit is waterproof and conforms to IP68.

Canon U.S.A. introduced the VB-H652LVE, its new infrared outdoor-ready Fixed Dome Network Camera which has a vandal-resistant, water-tight housing and optional heater unit making it suitable for installation in many climates. It is equipped with four built-in IR illuminators that enable video to be captured in little to no visible light, and an Auto Focus function for clear focusing on subjects both near and far away. It offers analog video output and installation controls for simple camera positioning during installation, and multiple power options including 24 V AC, 12 V DC, PoE and PoE+ provide further installation flexibility.
