Codebench Integrates With Sielox's Pinnacle Software

Codebench Inc., a provider of TWIC / HSPD-12 / FIPS-201 authentication software, has integrated its PIVCheck Plus software with the Pinnacle access control software from Sielox, offering federal agencies and other organizations a fully compliant HSPD-12 solution.

Codebench’s PIVCheck software suite, an end-to-end card validation, authentication and registration solution for HSPD-12 compliance, now integrates with Sielox’s Pinnacle suite of access control software available for a wide range of applications. Pinnacle, Sielox’s flagship event management system, is available in Ultra, Lite, Standard, Plus and Professional versions.

Pairing the PIVCheck solution with Pinnacle will allow federal government users and other organizations that need to comply with HSPD-12 requirements to easily validate FIPS-201 compliant credentials in real-time and to continue that validation with an ongoing, user-defined schedule. The integration between PIVCheck and Pinnacle allows entities to easily register PIV, TWIC, CAC or FRAC cards without having to do additional data entry on each cardholder.

Karen Evans, president of Sielox said, “The Sielox Pinnacle system is the ideal solution for access control security needs. In a small office, campus or worldwide enterprise, Pinnacle’s features and scalability support current and future needs. Integrated video-rich clients, Web clients, data exchange, virtual machines, intelligent elevator interface with destination dispatch and FIPS-201 support are some of the many important Pinnacle features. The Sielox and Codebench solution will provide seamless FIPS-201 cardholder authentication, enrollment, and on-going credential management.”

Codebench’s PIVCheck software suite provides a seamless transition to HSPD-12 or FIPS-201 compliance by leveraging a facility’s physical access control system for card validation, authentication, and registration. PIVCheck software integrates with more than 20 different physical access control software platforms and is deployed at many federal agencies, ports, petrochemical and military facilities.

“Our PIVCheck software verifies that credentials are authentic and valid at the time of registration into the physical access control system,” said Geri B. Castaldo, CEO of Codebench. “This solution from Codebench and Sielox allows organizations to make the most of their existing access control systems while ensuring ongoing compliance with FIPS-201 regulations.”
