IPVideo Corp. to Showcase its Multiple Award-Winning HALO Smart Sensor at the 24th Annual NYS Affordable Housing Conference

IPVideo Corp. today announced that the company will be exhibiting (Booth # 7-19) at the 24th Annual NYS Affordable Housing Conference (NYSAFAH) taking place May 18 at the Marriot Marquis Time Square in New York City.

This housing event is the largest in the nation and will include more than 60 affordable housing industry exhibitors, 18 one-hour professional workshops, plenary program with breakfast and key affordable housing panelists, a banquet luncheon with keynote and a robust post-conference reception.

Attendees will be able to learn more about IPVideo’s HALO IoT Smart Sensor that is helping public housing authorities throughout the U.S. stay in compliance with the HUD non-smoking mandate. A big challenge for the housing industry is enforcing the non-smoking policy throughout the apartment complexes.

Having the ability to get alerts and notifications from the sensor in the case of smoking or vaping allows housing authorities to mitigate risks quickly and create a safer environment for residents.

IPVideo Corp. makes solutions for a smarter, safer and healthier world, including the multi-award-winning HALO Smart Sensor. HALO is at the forefront of solving ever-evolving safety and security concerns as the industry leader in monitoring facility privacy areas.

HALO works while protecting the privacy of individuals as it does not use cameras, record audio, or capture any personally identifiable information (PII), making it the ideal solution for use in residential units. New security and environmental monitoring features provide users with even greater levels of security and easier installation.

“We are excited to showcase our HALO Smart Sensor at the upcoming NYSAFAH conference that is helping public housing across the country identify and stop smoking in units, prevent unnecessary fires, mitigate insurance, and provide air quality and security protection for their residents,” said David Antar, president at IPVideo Corp.
