SIA Opens 2026 Lippert and Progress Award Nominations

The two awards recognize long-term service and efforts to advance women in the security industry.

Security professionals can submit candidates for the Security Industry Association's (SIA) 2026 George R. Lippert Memorial Award and SIA Progress Award.

The Progress Award, presented by the SIA Women in Security Forum, recognizes individuals who advance opportunities for women in the industry. Selection considers contributions and professional support provided through mentorship or sponsorship. Related recognition, professionalism and integrity are also evaluated.

The Lippert Award honors long-term service to SIA and the security industry. Candidates are evaluated based on the impact of their work, along with their integrity, leadership and diplomacy.

Recipients will be recognized Nov. 4 at SIA Honors Night in New York City, held in conjunction with ISC East. Nominations close Sept. 30.
