A couple ideas crossed my mind while taking a lunch break at Security Essen. The facility is so large that they have two press centers, but what I liked most about the press center is that they service a nice cup of chicken noodle soup to the journalists.
In addition to announcing new additions to its award-winning iCLASS SE platform that provides the highest level of security, privacy and portability, the company will launch its latest architectural reader to the German market and present its partnership with Vodafone around mobile access solutions.

Other than a brief stopover in Frankfurt years ago, this is my first trip to Germany, and is my first exposure to Security Essen. The global tradeshow kicked off last night in fine fashion with a few self-indulgent pats on the back for creating a nice tradeshow, and getting everyone here without incident.
