PSA Security Networks Congratulates Their New Board of Directors

PSA Security Network is proud to announce the results of the Board of Director Elections held at its Annual Stockholders’ Meeting during PSA-TEC 2013 in Westminster, Colorado. Re-elected for two-year terms were Chairman Mike Kobelin of Aronson Security Group in Beaverton, Oregon and Vice-Chairman, Mark Olive of Eales Electronics in Oklahoma City.

New directors elected for two-year terms were Ron Oetjen co-founder/president of Intelligent Access Systems of North Carolina, LLC in Raleigh, North Carolina, who replaced the retiring Tim Feury and Paul Thomas, president of Northland Control Systems, Inc. in Fremont, California, who replaced the retiring Mike Tiffin. PSA thanks Feury and Tiffin for their leadership and support during their terms.

PSA Security Networks Congratulates Their New Board of DirectorsRon Oetjen co-founded Intelligent Access Systems in 2003, striving to build a strong security systems integration business along the I-85 corridor between Atlanta and Washington D.C. A respected and inspiring industry leader, Ron was instrumental in developing the branch offices in Atlanta, Raleigh, Richmond, Pittsburgh and Tampa.

Through his vision and passion, Ron helped build Intelligent Access Systems from a startup into a well-respected security systems integration company that consistently ranks in the Security Dealer Magazines Top Systems Integrators report. The company was named by INC. magazine in the 2010, 2011 and 2012 editions of the INC5000 report, which recognizes the 5000 fastest growing small businesses in the US. Today, he continues to shape the direction of the business by focusing on innovative solutions and offerings, such as managed security services, to keep the company at the forefront of the industry.

Oetjen serves on the board of directors for the Southeastern Safety and Security Healthcare Council as well as PSA Security Network. He is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), a Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM), and a member of the American Society for Industrial Security.  He lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife, Jenna and their 3 daughters.

PSA Security Networks Congratulates Their New Board of DirectorsPaul Thomas joined Northland Controls in 2008. Paul has established himself as a leader in many facets of the security industry. He has a broad base of experience enabling him to offer major contributions to the industry.

Paul is responsible for Northland Controls’ operations in the Americas. Prior to joining Northland, he was with GE Security for five years, with responsibility for North American business development through the Architect and Engineering channels. He was also responsible for GE’s technical management of the Professional Sports and Entertainment channel, and managed the security design control for the New York Yankees, New York Mets, Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals and several other professional sports centers.

Prior to GE, he spent over 20 years as Executive Vice President for RFI Communications & Security Systems, a multi-million dollar, diversified systems integrator in the San Francisco Bay area. Paul has 28 years of experience in growing businesses; managing development, sales, marketing, and operations; and serving diverse customers from small businesses to Fortune 100 companies.
