Morse Watchmans Updates Lenel Factory Certification

Morse Watchmans has received an updated factory certification from Lenel Systems International, Inc. to include KeyWatcher Touch Key Management System support for v6.6 and v7.0 of the Lenel OnGuard access control system. The updated certification ensures that KeyWatcher Touch supports segmentation in the OnGuard system. In addition, the OnGuard module adds a dozen standard card formats and supports the ability to add card formats generated by the new card format builder utility in KeyWatcher Touch.

“Morse Watchmans has completed required factory testing at Lenel to validate support for the newest versions of the OnGuard system, as well as the additional functionality of its interface,” said Gidon Lissai, director, strategic alliances, Lenel. “End users are assured of platform compatibility for managing their KeyWatcher system configuration through OnGuard along with the convenience of additional card formats. We look forward to their continued involvement in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program.”

“Enhancements to our KeyWatcher TrueTouch OnGuard system interface provide an even more comprehensive solution for building security,” said Fernando Pires, VP Sales and Marketing, Morse Watchmans. “With the capability for more card formats, users now have additional options that are cost-effective and convenient to implement.”

Morse Watchmans key control and management systems are an orderly and secure solution for addressing controlled usage and safekeeping of mechanical keys. The tamper-proof systems are designed so that only authorized users, using pre-programmed PIN codes, access cards or biometrics, can access keys; on-board advanced technology automatically records all access activity. In addition to the newly added functionality, Morse Watchmans’ OnGuard system interface allows users to quickly and efficiently configure several user authorization parameters including add/modify/delete cardholders and badge data, associate KeyWatcher site profiles to OnGuard access levels, configure which KeyWatcher TrueTouch alarms and transactions get passed to the OnGuard system via alarms, allow the configuration of an Anti-Egress feature, and more.

The open-source AV1 codec developed by the Alliance for Open Media—a consortium including Google, Netflix, Microsoft, Amazon and others — is already the preferred decoder for cloud-based applications, and is quickly becoming the standard for video compression of all types.
