Cronier Joins Avigilon as Sales Director for France

Avigilon on Aug. 31 announced the appointment of Nicolas Cronier as the company’s sales director for France, Belgium, and Luxembourg. In rapid expansion mode to meet worldwide demand for its high definition (HD) surveillance system, the company engaged Cronier to oversee all sales activities and manage customer relationships in the region.

Cronier previously was sales manager at NICE Systems Ltd., a provider of intent-based analytics applications and services, where he led the company’s success in the transportation, critical infrastructure, casino, and public sector markets. One of Cronier’s flagship accounts was the Eifel tower, a project that involved more than 200 video channels combined with analytics software. He also worked for PRIMION and NEDAP, both access control equipment manufacturers.

“Worldwide demand for our award-winning HD and megapixel video surveillance systems continues to grow rapidly, and we are committed to delivering superior customer service across the globe to meet our customers’ needs,” said Dave Tynan, vice president of global sales and marketing at Avigilon. “With an in-depth knowledge of the market and a strong technical background, Nicolas will play a key role in meeting the needs of our expanding customer base in France, Belgium, and Luxembourg.”

Based in Paris, Cronier will oversee sales activities and manage customer, integrator, and consultant relationships by providing technical expertise and onsite support.

“As the world’s first open HD Network Video Management Software platform, the Avigilon HD Surveillance System protects and monitors thousands of customer sites in more than 60 countries around the world,” said Cronier. “I am excited to offer customers … a surveillance solution that delivers indisputable video evidence for reduced investigation times and greater success.”

Avigilon designs, manufactures, and markets award-winning HD surveillance systems. Avigilon Control Center, the world’s first open HD Network Video Management Software platform, and megapixel cameras deliver full situational awareness and actionable image detail.
