Avigilon Announces Global Expansion of Sales Team

Avigilon has promoted key executives within the organization and hired three new sales executives to effectively address the growing demand for the company’s HD surveillance solution around the world.

“With a 300 percent growth rate year over year since 2007, we continue to demonstrate our unrelenting commitment to excellence,” said Alexander Fernandes, president and CEO at Avigilon. “By adding experienced and highly respected professionals and promoting high-performance individuals from within the company, we will remain well-positioned to handle the fast-pace growth we expect in 2011 and beyond.”

The top global sales performer in 2008 and 2009, Bryan Schmode has been promoted to vice president of sales for the Americas and Asia Pacific, responsible for heading up Avigilon’s business operations to support continued growth throughout the Americas and Asia Pacific. A top sales performer at Avigilon for the past three years, Brian Giampaoli has been promoted to senior sales director for the Eastern United States, responsible for managing customer, integrator, and consultant relationships and generating growth in the region.
