Samsung Techwin Adds Regional Sales Manager to Support Continued Growth

Samsung Techwin America, a global supplier of video surveillance and security products, announced that Jennifer Pittman has joined the company to fill the newly created position of south central regional sales manager. Her territory will include the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas.

“Samsung Techwin is uniquely positioned to build on its successes in the physical security market,” said Frank DeFina, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Samsung. “Our position is maintained by a strong product portfolio and an equally strong distribution channel. This new sales position, along with Ms. Pittman’s experience, will help to support and enhance our regional initiatives.”

Pittman will work closely with the sales channel to bring Samsung Techwin’s state of the art physical security solutions to end users and to increase market share in the region. Her previous experience includes new business development with SecureNet Inc., account management with ASG Security, and sales positions at The Resource Corp, a manufacturer’s rep, and within ADT.

“I’m very pleased to have joined the Samsung family,” Pittman said. “It is with confidence that I stand beside the Samsung name and product line. My goals consist of supporting and working closely with the rep firm, providing customers with training and corporate visibility and support and helping to uncover CCTV opportunities.”
