Live From ISC West 2017 Highlights

ISC West 2017 was one of the most successful shows in years, and Security Today was there to capture the excitement.

With ISC West 2017 behind us, the dust has settled and Security Today was able to learn about some of the latest trends in the security industry while also being able to stream presentations on the live from page.

Open Options was proud to launch DNA Fusion Version 7 at the show, which is the latest version of the access control platform. Visitors were able to learn about DNA Fusion’s third-party integrations with industry leaders such as Milestone, Allegion, Vingtor-Stentofon, ASSA ABLOY, Axis, ISONAS, ThyssenKrupp, Suprema BioConnect, and more.

The company also unveiled a brand new booth highlighting these integrations.

Everbridge highlighted a number of announcements, including the recent acquisition of IDV Solutions. IDV Solutions is a natural integration for Everbridge, as they provide threat assessment and operational visualization software. IDV’s Visual Command Center (“VCC”) application displays an integrated picture of threats and events overlaid with an organization’s people, assets and supply routes, along with other contextual information.

Everbridge also announced an alliance with Lenel, combining Lenl’s OnGuard platform with Everbridge’s Safety Connection software. Organizations can now offer comprehensive security management on-premisees and off-premises.

Lilin continues to produce high-quality products, and three major products were on display. The first, the 1080P Full HD Door Station, is a one-button door station with high quality camera and allows direct communication between someone and their visitor. Next, the Day & Night 1080P HD Auto Focus IR IP Camera, is a 2-megapixel IP camera integrates 10x or 20x optical Auto Focus lens to focus or zoom adjustments by clicking on browsers to easily.

Finally, the D/N 1080P AHD IR Camera can transmit data that is not encoded resulting in no process and no delay real time and complete transmission.

A livestream at the BCDVideo booth walked through a partnership with SentryMobile to offer turnkey bodycams for mobile surveillance applications. Video recording and storage have now been made available on mobile cameras, allowing for easy installation with no wait for parts.

BCDVideo also announced a partnership with NVIDIA, another Live From sponsor at the show. NVIDIA, a first time ISC West exhibitor, was promoting the future of AI Cities by leveraging the company’s edge-to-cloud GPU computing platform to create object recognition software. More than a dozen partners displayed recognition software at the booth.

Finally, Govie award-winning Salient Sytems was showcasing its RED3 IS integrated server platform. The platform offers server, switch and software for professional video surveillance deployments. Salient also held a great customer appreciation event to a full house.
